Fish Leather
If something smells fishy, it’s not our products! Our leather is treated in a way that neutralises any fishy smell. You get the unique piece, without having to worry about the odour.
It sure is. Fish leather is 100% genuine leather, just from a different animal. It’s been used around the world for centuries and is now making a comeback as one of the most unique materials available.
We use premium Pacific King Salmon leather. Not only does it create beautiful natural patterns, but it’s also a by-product of the seafood industry that would otherwise go to waste.
Not even close—and that’s exactly the point. Every fish has its own unique pattern, so every wallet, phone case and accessory is completely one of a kind.
For its thickness, yes. Fish leather has a naturally criss-cross fibre structure that gives it impressive strength while remaining lightweight and flexible.
Because we believe every fish deserves to be used to its full potential. By turning what was once considered waste into something beautiful and useful, we’re helping people carry a piece of the ocean every day.
Care & Durability
Absolutely. Fish leather is surprisingly tough thanks to the unique way its fibres are woven together. It’s built to handle everyday life while developing even more character over time.
Fish leather is naturally water-resistant, but like any quality leather, it’s happiest when it’s not soaked for long periods. A few splashes are no problem, but we wouldn’t recommend taking it for a swim.
Like all premium leather, it’ll pick up character as you use it. Rather than looking worn out, it develops a unique patina that tells the story of every adventure.
Good news—you don’t need to baby it. Simply wipe it clean with a soft cloth when needed and avoid prolonged exposure to water or harsh chemicals.
Sustainability & Ethics
We think so. Our leather is made from fish skins that would otherwise be discarded, giving new life to a by-product instead of letting it go to waste. Better utilisation means showing more respect for every fish.
Yes. We don’t harvest fish for their skins. Every skin comes from fish already caught for food, giving a by-product a second life instead of letting it go to waste.
Our fish leather is crafted from responsibly sourced salmon skins before being turned into finished products designed to last for years.
